Our sublime Reproduction of The Royal French Louis XV style bombé shape gilt-ormolu-mounted veneer inlaid pedestal after the model attributed to Theodore Millet, the famed French cabinet maker and founder of the Maison Millet firm in Paris, c.1880, in the manner of Leon Message,

The pedestal is headed with an inset marble top fitted with a gadrooned gilt ormolu floral filled cartouches and scroll forms, rotating on a bombe pedestal base.

The case adorned with an intricate and exceptionally gilt ormolu cabriole mounts with male and female ormolu espagnolette, elongated with gilt ormolu scroll mounts centering a floral basket issuing blooms extended to the bottom, raised on gilt ormolu cabriole scroll feet.
